Full Description
Saracens' Head. Bellarmine, part; brown glazed sherds; clay pipes. (1)
Excavations at Saracen's Head Yard. Levelling for existing car park straight onto natural. Groups of mid-late C17 pits followed by late C17 building on stone footings with gutter. Replaced by brick building using same footings; stable blocks for the inn ? Finds from excavation. (2) (3) (4)
