Full Description

Left femur of horse found protruding from clay bank of "The Beck", at a point where an 11000V electricity line crosses the beck and the Eakring-Caunton road. The bank is on the outside of a bend of the beck and c 7-8ft deep. The bone was c 5-6ft below the ground level of the meadow - knuckle end in bank (sketch in parish file). No obvious signs of anything else. (1)
