Neo flints and a flint knife found (unknown which find from where - see cross refs). (1)
The find spots are bisected by a main road (A611), to the N of the road the fields are pasture and to the S they have been recently harrowed and seeded. There is a heavy sand/gravel/flint concentrate in the area but no worked flakes were found during investigation. A large collection of Oswald material is crated and now classified in NUM. The farmer/landowner has no knowledge of archaeological material from the area. (2)
