Full Description

A late C9 arabic dirhem and a C9-C10 strap end with animal head terminal, both from above grid ref. Also a second strap end, C9-C10 type, different finder. (1) (2) (3)
Abbasid silver dirhem, Caliph al-Mutamid, 890-92 AD, found 03/01/1987. These coins commonly occur in Scandinavian hoards of late C9 and C10. (4)
