Full Description

--/01/90 broken pot containing more than 1500 Ro coins discovered while digging foundations for a shed. Brought to NCM for identification - late C3 silver washed, in poor condition, inc Gallienus, Postumus, Victorinus, Tetricus. Pot was a painted jar, found on its side and crushed, with marks of coins on inside. Site visit 09/01/1990 - see notes. More coins found later, using a metal detector. All sent to BM for cleaning and examination. (1) (2)
