Metal working tool found by Mr Webb (with metal detector) and retained by him. Small axe-shaped implement with grove for metal rod handle (apparently used as a punch). Bronze slag also found in the area. (1) Metal working tool has been permanently donated to the Burton Joyce Centre for Local History, Chestnut Grove, Burton Joyce, where it is on display in the Carnarvon Room. (2)
