Light toned features, soil marked, indicative of possible shafts. Disused mine. 10 features, 5-10m in diameter. (1)
NB many small sand and gravel pits in this area.

Just wondering if you have anymore information on this as my ancestors were Wheelwrights in Newark and we are trying to trace more about then, Was hoping this might have been their premises. Regards Amanda Odling
