Full Description

A footpath runs south along the top of a substantial bank, which curves east around the south edge of a pasture field containing ridge and furrow. A ditch runs along the west and south sides and appears to have turned back to the north at the east end of the field, though this is no longer in use and is seen as a shallow hollow. A second ditch and bank meet the first from the west at its south-west corner. Possible building platforms are present north- west of this junction. To the south, an old field boundary bank runs to the fishpond and an old east-west channel is associated with pairs of linear banks lying either side of the causewayed path. The ditch continues west of the main road. (1)
Grid ref centred. See M1201 for fishponds, M1347 for quarry.
