Full Description

In field N of Church there are possible building platforms at W end and either side of a linear hollow, marked on 1:10000 map as a path, running S to church in N corner of field. Poorly preserved earthworks survive in improved pasture field to N-E and in churchyard. The field W of church has an irregular surface. A building platform and linear bank can be seen in field between Rectory and stream. The field to E of church has many linear boundary banks and that appear to relate to field systems of various phases, though slight evidence of terracing may suggest settlement towards N-W corner. N of road, R and F disrupted by quarry hollow. Pond survives at edge of arable field to the E. (1)
Grid ref centred.
See M1589 for church.
