Full Description

Area of well preserved ridge and furrow on the north side of Gravel Lane, immediately west of New Farm. The northern limit of the ridge and furrow is marked by a distinct linear E-W bank or lynchet. At its southern end, immediately north of Gravel Lane, the field contains a number of irregular mounds and hollows displaying no clearly apparent form, but perhaps related to former settlement. Further ridge and furrow was visible on AP's north of New Farm, but access was not possible for field inspection. (1)
