Full Description

A number of poorly defined earthwork mounds and hollows occupy in the pasture field immediately north of Cromwell Church. There is no clearly apparent form to the earthworks, but their position, immediately east of the former line of the Great North Road, and at the heart of the village, suggests that they may indicate remains of former settlement.
