Substantial NW-SE hollow-way, possible an earlier line of the main N-S lane through Moorhouse, as public footpath continues on the projected line of the present metalled roadway along the bottom of the hollow-way. (1)

Just wondering if you have anymore information on this as my ancestors were Wheelwrights in Newark and we are trying to trace more about then, Was hoping this might have been their premises. Regards Amanda Odling
