Full Description

A former track/road, marked by a notable hollow, runs NNW-SSE just W of the railway line, its line running beneath the modern road, Marl Pit Hill and down into the village. It branches WSW towards Soar Lane. Many field system earthworks are preserved to W of this, including linear, boundary banks, ridge and furrow and furlong boundaries. Possible settlement earthworks survive. A single terrace platform within the field system to the N of Soar Lane. (1)
