Full Description

Attenborough. A hoard of c 1000 silver coins of late C14-mid C15 was found by Mr HG Roberts while digging at a depth of 15in in his garden, in May 1966. The hoard was concealed in a small jug between stones. Large quantities of pottery from C13-C19 were found nearby. (1)
Hoard of c 1420. Any relationship between coin hoard and any structure destroyed by garden digging. (4)
Mr Roberts lives at 51 St Mary's Close. The garden is centred at above grid ref. (5)
