Full Description

Pa implements have been found in Stoney Street Gravel Pit by Mr FWG Davey. A representative selection of the finds are now in the BM. (1)
Other (unspecified) finds were made by Mr Briggs at Stoney Street Pit. They were given to the pit owner Sir Louis Pearson but have since been lost. The series in BM has been described by Smith - (1).
All the implements are rolled, several heavily so, and are of grey flint. 4 handaxes, and a high angled flake. (2)
4 handaxes, 2 flakes and 1 "misc". (3)
