Full Description

A bronze socketed axehead with a loop was crushed when found in the gravel pit in the early 1960's. The cast decoration consists of an "M" with 3 ring- and-dot terminals. The exact location is unknown, but is believed to be near Holme Cut (above grid ref). The find remains in private possession. (1)
