Full Description
Fieldwalked 15/01/1979 - site set on small keuper marl knoll surrounded to S and W by alluvium and to N and E by boulder clay. Finds - 6 late BA sherds from area of subcircular enclosures; 7 possibly late BA/early IA ? sherds; 2 possibly IA sherds; (3 possibly Saxon sherds). 2.5Ha site. (1)
Fieldwalked 21/03/1980, also field to N (SK 72143646). Similar materials in larger quantities. Some late IA sherds, (some with Pagan Saxon features). (2)
