Full Description
Fieldwalked 15/01/1979 - site set on small keuper marl knoll surrounded to S and W by alluvium and to N and E by boulder clay. Finds - 173 Ro sherds including coarse calcite gritted wares, grey wares and Derbyshire ware. 2.5Ha site. (1)
Fieldwalked 21/03/1980, also field to N (SK 72143646). Similar materials in larger quantities. In all 200+ grey wares, 100 coarse gritted, few colour coated sherds. (2)
