Full Description

A scatter of C2-C4 pottery was found in the plough soil in 1965 by Mr G Wheat. (1)
The farmer said he found some material in the ploughsoil "years ago" on the site of a ploughed out, ditched mound, that stood at SK 70284034, but did not know the name of the person to whom he gave it. No longer arable land, extensive earth moving and industrial building has, and is, taking place. (2)
See M1465 for henge site.
