Full Description

In the same area (as flints) a late Saxon rim sherd of shell gritted pottery was also found. (1)
The indicated site is in a level field bounded on the SE by the Car Dyke. Under corn stubble when visited, nothing of interest was seen, and no further finds recorded. Mr Simmons (1) no longer lives in the area. (2)
