Full Description

Two Anglo-Saxon grave cover fragments in the church at Shelton. (1)
Two Saxon crosses found in Shelton. (2)
The stones have interlace decoration and both are the "foot" end of the slab. They are kept one at each end of the S aisle and are 0.8m long. (3)
These grave covers may be more specifically referred to as 'hogbacks'. They are Anglo-Scandinavian. (4)
