Full Description
A rectangular feature in field to SE, cut by linear feature. This area is heavily pitted. (1) (2)
All cropmarks are now under low cereal. The crop height is quite level apart from natural ground undulations and there is nothing to be seen of the enclosures. Perambulation produced only normal modern field debris. The area has an open aspect but is adjacent to the Trent on a flood plain and any occupation would probably be restricted to the summer and autumn only. Probably forming a part of the extensive IA/Ro profile in this area. (3)
Morph: 195.5.1 enclosure. (4)
See L3018 for associated cropmarks, L8396 for find spot.
