Full Description
Fields 336-347; Site C. The spread of Med material (along Fosse) is fairly continuous, but there is a suggestion of a major focus ... to the E of Moor Lane. The pottery falls mainly within the later Med period, and is explicable perhaps in terms of intensive manuring around the focus of the now shrunken village of E Stoke. There is however an equal likelihood of associated structural remains. (1)
Grid ref centred - very extensive scatter.
