Linear features. Those in field N of Emu Farm curve and intersect, forming possible enclosures. (1) (2)
Perambulation revealed no surface indications of these marks which are now under pasture, and no archaeological finds were made. The farmer has no knowledge of the works (which he considers to be "non agricultural" but possibly "early" - ie C19 - "plough drainage"). The topographical situation is flat with an open aspect. An explanation of the markings cannot be offered. (3)
Morph: 206.15.1 temporary camp. (4)
