BA flint flakes found during Fosseway excavation in 1948 - in sand used to raise level of road. (1) The site of the excavation is plotted on the Museum 6in at SK 8265 5722. (3)
(SK 833580) A flint flake found during an excavation on Fosse Way, is in NWM. (4)
