Full Description

Found 1950: Food vessel and overhanging rim urn sherds, BA hammer stone part bored, flint scraper. (1)
From Meering - sherds of cinerary urn, 2 beehive querns, 2 flint scrapers, stone hammerhead, 3 other pottery sherds. (2)
Extensive gravel quarrying has been carried out here almost to the river bank. Now returned to agriculture but the land lies much lower. The river bank and the site indicated by (1) contains Med debris but no Ro or Preh material was found. (3)
