Full Description

2 joining pieces from the blade of a BA rapier, now in NWM. (1)
From a gravel pit. Group II, Acton Park, MBA. Length remaining 467mm, max width 21mm, weight 130g. Ridged blade of flat lozenge section, exceptionally narrow and elgant. Blade only remains, broken in two parts, 205mm from the tip. Now rejoined by solder. Some surface pitting and nicks in edge. Consistent bronze colour. (2)
