Full Description

The cropmarks cover 2 fields, both of which are now under crop permitting limited perambulation only... Finds from field edges produced 2 fragments of Ro grey ware (C3/C4), a single fragment of a probable Ro roof tile was also found... Reperambulated 02/10/1974 now part plough and part stubble; the area is bisected by a N-S hedge; to the W 4 scattered sherds of C3/C4 ware were picked up together with a fragment of roofing tile, rather small for precise classification but possibly also Ro. Only modern field debris was found to the E of the hedge. (1)
