Full Description
Finds from fieldwalking centred at above grid ref include barbed and tanged arrowheads, also one sherd of BA pottery with chevron decoration. (1)
Preh working floors are not uncommon (but the later "follow-on" is unexpected). Mr Minnitt (1) has a vast collection of material from this area - the majority yet to classify. His flints number some 6-70000. (2)
Concentration of flints suggests that knapping was carried out in this parish. (3)
See L4746 for cross refs.
