Full Description
Finds from fieldwalking centred at above grid ref - Ro pottery including samian, colour-coated, coarse wares and mortaria, also C4 coins. (1)
(Preh working floors are not uncommon but) the later "follow-on" is unexpected. Mr Minnitt (1) has a vast collection of material from this area- the majority yet to classify. (2)
The Ro pottery consists primarily of Dales ware, with 6 colour coated sherds and a fragment of a hunt cup. 4 C3 coins, and one illegible. (3)
