Full Description

"Tankard"-like object recovered during gravel extraction, 02/02/1990. Made of a wooden base covered by very thin copper alloy sheeting on the outside only. Loose copper alloy handle also recovered, had been attached by rivets. BM identified as of IA/Ro type. Cleaned and consolidated in Lincoln Museum. (1) (2)
