Full Description

Mechanical stripping by the Thoroton Society of an area of land centred here, as part of the excavation of a series of cropmarks, exposed a complicated series of ditches, which in some cases were cut well into the gravels. Pottery recovered included a few unstratified IA sherds. (1)
