(WA11) Pit marked on 1869 plan. Area of colliery spoil adjacent to N bank of R Meden. No evidence of bell-pit or shaft (earthwork evident on photo, plate 7). (1) (2)
See L9508, L9509 for further shafts. These could be associated with either Whiteborough Colliery or Molyneux Colliery.
