Full Description

Fieldwalking in field 135 revealed 13 worked flints, including the basal portion of a later upper Pa "penknife" point. This bears an unusually heavy patination compared to other material from this field, and the other flintwork, which includes 3 retouched but undiagnostic pieces, could derive from later periods. The field is located on boulder clay, which has in general produced very little lithic material, and although only a small quantity of material was recovered it stands out as a clear cluster. (1)
