Full Description

WN1 - Also found were over 100 sherds of pottery including ... Cistercian ware (?), green glaze ware and a piece probably Bellarmine. Also found was a lump of alabaster, probably intended for Hardwick Hall. (1)
This year walking continued in an easterly direction as far as the public footpath. A quantity of Med sherds were found, mainly along alongside the road, the other sherds were scattered. (2)
