Full Description

Type IIIA bronze spearhead, found on the conveyor belt with gravel in pit "OL", Colwick gravel pits, approx above grid ref. Collected by C Salisbury, 15/05/1975. Property of City of Nottingham. (1) Bronze spearhead, type IIIA. (2)
From Trout Pond gravel pit. Spearhead, Class IIIa Ind Phase VII-Taunton, MBA. Light khaki brown patina throughout, darker sections occur along the blade, which has been extensively damaged. Length 390mm, width 40mm, weight 264g. (4)
