Full Description

Significant concentration of flintwork in fields along E side of Fosse. A total of 110 flints was recovered, a small proportion of which is either burnt or calcined. Retouched artefacts are rare, and include one probably later Mes end scraper ... Cores are particularly abundant and the predominance of small blade cores, combined with the presence of several small blades, would also suggest a later Mes presence. (1)
