Title An Archaeological Assessment of the Proposed A6096 Awsworth and Cossall Bypass
Author/Originator
Date/Year 1994
NCC Biblio ID 2518

Abstract/Summary

A desk-based assessment of the proposed route of bypass around the village of Awsworth identified a number of industrial remains. Although modern development had removed most of the evidence of more recent industrial activites, the probable site of an early 17th century glassworks was identified close to the proposed route.
