Date/Year | 2013 |
Abstract/Summary
A desk-based assessment was carried out in order to determine the archaeological potential of land at Main Street, Farndon, Nottinghamshire in advance of the submission of a planning application for a single dwelling. Data was gathered from a range of sources including a search of the Nottinghamshire H.E.R, Nottinghamshire Records Office, and the National Monuments Record.
The report states that overall, the site has a high archaeological potential for evidence from the Civil War period, moderate potential for medieval activity and negligible potential for all other periods, and contains map regression and site plans.
