Author/Originator | Paul Gajos |
Date/Year | 2013 |
Abstract/Summary
This archaeological desk-based assessment considers land promoted for residential development at Shelford Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. The assessment has established that based upon recorded archaeological information from the surrounding area there is considered to be an uncertain but probably low potential for significant archaeological remains of prehistoric and Roman date and a negligible potential for settlement evidence of Saxon or medieval date. The site is known to contain upstanding earthworks of post-medieval ridge and furrow. No potential impacts on any designated heritage asset in the wider vicinity of the study site have been identified.
