Date/Year 2011

Abstract/Summary

An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken on land proposed for development off Collyer Road, Calverton and Nottinghamshire. The overall site is approximately 3.7 hectares in extent. The report contains HER and other searches, a map regression, details of a site visit and modern photos of the site. Whilst there are heritage assets in the study area the report states “the study site is generally considered to have a low potential to contain archaeological remains pre-dating the medieval period. Any medieval or post-medieval remains that may be present within the study site are likely to relate to former agricultural practices and are considered to be of negligible archaeological importance”.
