Title Development at South West Hucknall. Environmental Statement.
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2013

Abstract/Summary

This is part of a wider environmental study which took place prior to proposed development located to the southwest of Hucknall – the application site covers approximately 118ha surrounding the Rolls Royce facilities and previously The Heritage section (Chapter 13 of the report) contains details of a desk based study from 3km from the centre of the site, a site walkover a map regression exercise and data searches. The report concludes that the only cultural heritage asset to be affected by the development would be RAF Hucknall of medium/low value. The setting of the WWII buildings fronting the airfield will be mitigated by the retention of the landscape buffer between them and the new development. The report finds the significance of the residual effect to be minor adverse. The report is in 2 documents, one containing text and the other containing images.
