Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief occurred during soil stripping of the initialphase of works for a new housing development. This waslocated on a plot of land at the edgeof a modern housing estate, Cavendish Park, to the north of the village of Clipstone, Nottinghamshire. This watching brief formed the second phase of archaeological work at the site. A geophysical survey had already been undertaken (Railton 2017), the results of which were inconclusive, but suggested the possibility of modern disturbance.
