Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation in October 2006 was undertaken on land north of Churchfield Drive, Rainworth, Nottinghamshire. Eight evaluation trenches, totalling 400m in length were excavated across a former arable field. Aside from two modern pits and a disused service trench no archaeological features were present in the trenches. There were no finds or other evidence for the use of the site before the modern period.
