Abstract/Summary
A Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey was undertaken in the vicinity of Beauvale Manor farm on 28th June 2021 between 0930 and 1430 BST. This survey complied with all Ofcom regulations and was principally aimed at locating possible medieval stone/brick cisterns.
Interpretation of the acquired GPR data suggests there are possibly two buried cisterns beneath the area surveyed, in addition to a number of buried utilities including a potential drawpit or drainage related feature. Further investigation is recommended to determine the significance of these findings.
