Abstract/Summary

A total of 26 areas were subjected to detailed magnetic survey. A palimpsest of former structures was found in several locations, especially extending north and eastwards from Glebe Farm, including several well-defined enclosures of presumed Iron Age or Roman date. One of these areas undoubtedly represented intensive settlement and included numerous enclosures and dense pit groups.
