Description

House, C17, and C18 possibly containing timber framing. Brick, colourwashed, with steep pitched pantiled roof, dentillated eaves, one off centre ridge and one gable stack. 1.1/2 storeys, 4 bays. Irregular facade with, to left, C18 plank door in timber frame, flanked by single C20 2 light casements. Beyond, to right, close boarded door in timber surround; beyond again, round headed glazing bar fixed light. Above, 2 Yorkshire sashes. West gable has to left, plank door and to right, blocked opening; above, close boarded loft door and above again, brick eaves band. Lean-to rear addition; C18, brick with catslide pantiled roof, has central half glazed door. Interior has back to back fireplaces with heavy bressummers. (NCC/js)
