Description

Public house. Late C18, altered mid C19, restored late C20. Ashlar with ashlar dressings and slate roof with coped gables and kneelers, and 2 coped stone gable stacks. Off-centre facing gable with loop and smaller coped stack. Plinth, eaves band, projecting surrounds to windows. 3 storeys; 6-window range of 12-pane sashes, and above, 6 smaller 12-pane sashes. Off-centre moulded stone doorcase with cornice and 4-panel double door and overlight, flanked to left by three 12-pane sashes and to right by 2 similar sashes. (EH)
