Description

C15 church, largely restored 1855. Central tower of 1658 on Early English base, crenellated parapet and pinnacles of 1810. Chancel with moulded arches and vine-leaf carving. Font of C15, restored C19. C19 glass. Parish Church of St Swithun and Nos 1 to 33 (odd) form a group with Nos 2 to 14 (even) Chapelgate. (NCC/js)
