Description

Threshing barn. C18. Timber frame with brick walls and half hipped pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. South front has central pair of barn doors with timber lintel add above, matchboarded panel with hatch to right. Single flanking lean-to wings, that to left with single slatted opening. Above, to right, gabled C19 dormer with close boarded door and pantile roof. East end has 2 slit ventilators. North side has central pair of barn doors. Interior has post and truss framing with large arch braces. Principal rafter roof with collars and clasp purlins. Brick corn hole to left. (NCC/js)
